  1. Wow this is very cool! Do you happen to remember what was the estimated cost of this? I need a new tree and stuff for my kitties but the ones that are made in the store seem to get knocked over by my cats ( I have an 18lb cat) when they lunge at a tree and what not they tend to get the tree ontop of them.....not fun~

  2. Def need to try to make.something like this for my cats! Looks wat better and more sturdy then the 200$ ones at the pet store. Any idea roughly how much it cost you to do this?

  3. I just costed it out on home depot. It comes to around $134. This includes the plywood (1/2") PVC (4") screws, brackets, glue, and twine. It does not include tools or fabric.

  6. These plans are a good start but they left out a lot of details. We need a 360 degree picture and lengths of the pvc. As for securing the pvc to the board I see you used the wood but on the other platform there's a screw in the middle of the wood. Did you screw it from the bottom and just shoved the pvc into the wood? The floor in the completed picture looks different than the floor in the plan, unless the other piece that says "can be used as bottom" was used. Like I said it's a good start but needs more detailed instructions.
